The Legacy
A work that outlives the evening.
Named for your family, dedicated to you, bound, recorded and kept for generations.

Your name, in the music
A title that is yours forever.
Your work carries your family's name or your garden's, such as The Ashworth Garden Quartet, with a formal dedication written into the score.
Every musician who ever plays it will read your name on the first page. Wherever it is performed, in your garden or far from it, it will be your family's music.
Glenda keeps the copyright, as composers do, which allows the work to be performed and remembered for generations. The name and the dedication are yours always.
A tradition two centuries old
The Razumovsky Quartets.
In 1806 Beethoven wrote three string quartets for Count Razumovsky, the Russian ambassador in Vienna. More than two hundred years later, they are still called the Razumovsky Quartets, and his name is printed in concert programs around the world.
A commission is how a family's name becomes part of music's story.
What your family keeps
Two heirlooms, and the music itself.

The bound score
Your complete work, beautifully bound, with its title and its dedication to your family on the opening page.

The recording
A professional recording of the live premiere: the music, the garden and the applause, exactly as they were that evening.
Together with The Illuminated Score, they hold your garden, your music and your evening, ready to be handed down.
For generations
Music to return to.
At every celebration to come
A wedding in the same garden, an anniversary, a grandchild's christening: your music can be played again whenever your family gathers. Should you wish, Glenda is delighted to arrange an encore performance.
A garden is never finished, and neither is its music. Glenda can return to write for it again: its first snow, its spring, the magnolia in bloom, the roses at their height. Each new work joins the first, and over the years your garden's music grows into a collection, a suite for every season.
To honor a life
Some families commission a work to leave a lasting legacy, or as a celebration of life. The music becomes a place to return to, long after the garden has changed.
Four splendors, all from one garden
